This is the class you need to pass to apply for a Tennessee State Handgun Carry Permit.  This course prepares students for the state written and range tests.

This course covers:

• Federal and TN Laws relating to handgun carry
  When the use of Deadly Force is Justified
  Criminal and Civil Liabilities
  Permit Qualification and Application Procedure
  Firearm Safety and Maintenance
  Handgun and Ammunition Knowledge
  Basic Marksmanship and Range Protocol

Graduates of this course will receive the certification required to apply for a Handgun Carry Permit in the State of Tennessee.

Shooting qualification is required (forty-eight rounds shot at three, seven and fifteen yards) and takes place at our indoor range. Students may rent handguns for qualification for $5. Cost of ammunition is not included.

Space is limited to twenty-five people and classes fill up weeks in advance.

Come by Coal Creek Armory to sign up.  You need to come in person and pay in full to reserve your spot.
